auth_value

The TCC.db column (Big Sur and later) that holds the decision for a row: 0 denied, 1 unknown, 2 allowed, 3 limited.

auth_value is the decision stored in the access table of TCC.db from macOS 11 Big Sur onward: 0 denied, 1 unknown, 2 allowed, 3 limited (for services with partial access, such as Photos). Mojave and Catalina used an allowed column (0 or 1) instead.

A denied row is evidence of a request even though it failed. Read it together with auth_reason. See the TCC access table across macOS versions.
