Who we are

TCC Parser is a free website and analysis tool operated by Cyber Experts. Contact: contact@tccparser.com. By using the site you accept these terms.

The service

TCC Parser decodes macOS TCC databases and related files in your browser and shows what they contain; it also publishes articles and a glossary. It needs no account and costs nothing. We may change, interrupt or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Results are not verdicts

Findings, review flags, recovered history and decoded requirements are aids for an analyst. auth_reason meanings are community-documented, and deleted data may be incomplete. A database with no finding is not proven clean, and a flagged grant is not proven malicious. Check important conclusions with other sources and your own expertise; decisions based on the results remain yours.

Your data, your responsibility

Only analyse data you are entitled to handle, for example on your own systems or within an engagement, employment or investigation that allows it. TCC databases reveal which apps a person uses and which devices they allowed; treat them as personal data.

Acceptable use

• attack, overload or try to bypass the protections of the site, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others;
• use it to plan or hide unauthorized access to other people's devices or data;
• present its output as coming from Cyber Experts, or suggest that we endorse your work.

Content and intellectual property

Articles, glossary entries, text and design are © Cyber Experts, all rights reserved, unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link; republishing whole articles needs our permission.

Third-party components used by the tool remain under their own licences, listed in the project's third-party notices. The synthetic sample may be reused freely.

Apple, macOS and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc. Tool names cited on this site belong to their owners. TCC Parser is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Apple or by the authors of the tools it mentions.

No warranty

TCC Parser is provided free of charge, as it is and as available, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or availability, to the extent permitted by law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cyber Experts is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, business or profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, nor the mandatory rights of consumers.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the new version is published on this page with its date, and applies from then on. These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, the French courts have jurisdiction, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence or of their right to bring proceedings there.
